Fresh Food Box

What is it?

The Fresh Food Box is a program that makes healthy eating more affordable for everyone (it is not a handout or charity). A fresh food box is a combination of fruit, vegetables, grain and a newsletter about how to use the food in the box. Customers pay $10 or $15 for a box. There is also a $10 all fruit box. Volunteers pack the boxes. Local food is purchased for the boxes in season. Packing space is provided by community partners.

Who can come?

The fresh food box is for everyone!

What can you expect/why would I go here?

All money is used to purchase food and supplies for the fresh food boxes, this is a non profit program. We buy in bulk and pass the savings on to our customers. It gives people a chance to try some new foods and ideas. It is sort of like a personal shopping service. A group of friends or co-workers could also take turns ordering and picking up for their group.
